If you love Italian cuisine, you should not miss our cooking class! Group lessons include the preparation of different typical dishes of the Sorrento tradition, according to the choice of our chef Mama and the availability of our garden products.

With us you will have the opportunity to learn how to prepare handmade pasta such as Scialatielli, Fettuccine or Gnocchi, prepare our famous dessert, and of course you will discover the secrets of our sauce!

What to expect:

– Meet and greet at the private family garden with visit and refreshment (garden products are available according to season).

– Move with us to the venue where the cooking class will take place. A panoramic walking seeing all the gulf of Naples will takes us to the beach where our kitchen is located. Here will start the real fun.

– Prepare your own hand made pasta from the scretch and learn how to make three types of pasta. You will prepare your hand made dessert too.

– Lunch will include starter, hand made first plate and hand made dessert. Water, wine and drinks are included.

Cooking Italian Salvatore and Andrea looked after us extremely well. Firstly they welcomed us by showing their beautiful family garden at their home . From there we went down to the waterfront to cooking mamma. Had the best experience learning to cook pasta, tiramisu. Also knowledge of the limoncello and tomato sauce process. They are extremely knowledgeable of Italian cuisine. The experience was truly amazing Highly recommend them to anyone who wants the full Italian cooking and culture experience.

Intimate, delicious, and amazing cooking class off the beaten path My mother and I had an absolutely lovely cooking class today with a new cooking company, Cooking Mama. They are based in the little town of Piano di Sorrento, which was a 15 minute ride by train or taxi from Sorrento. You start with a tour of their garden, then walk a few minutes to their private kitchen right on the water. It is out of the way of tourists, and this young couple absolutely loves what they do. They were so hospitable, we had so much fun cooking, eating, drinking, and getting to know Andrea and Salvatore!! Highly recommend booking with them for an intimate and personal experience.

A wonderful cooking experience! Salvatore and his mother provided us with a unique and wonderful cooking experience in their professional kitchen. Before we began cooking we took a tour of their fabulous garden with all of the fresh ingredients we would be using to cook. We learned some great cooking techniques and then got to enjoy a tasty lunch of all that we made. I would highly recommend this wonderful experience!

OMG. Yes, chef! Salvatore and his family are fantastic. Our adventure started with a tour of their family garden plot (including a 70+ year old lemon tree), then a 10min walk down to the marina to the Cooking Mama kitchen. We made tiramisu, gnocchi, and enjoyed the best eggplant parmigiana I’ve ever eaten. Topped it off with some homemade limoncello. We could not have asked for anything else. A wonderful and authentic experience This was such a great experience. Salvatore was so kind and knowledgeable. It was so amazing to walk from the garden to the wharf where the cooking school is. This did not feel at all touristy but much more authentic. I highly recommend it.

Great experience! Made gnocchi and tirimisu with Salvador and Andrea. Both were great with our kids and made the night of cooking special. Will highly recommend and will be back next time we are in Sorrento.

Amazing experience. ! This was for sure the highlight of our trip to Italy. Andrea and Salvatore were amazing. We made Gnocchi, Tiramasi, eggplant and caperese roll. They are super fun, helpful and excellent teachers. The location in the water is amazingly beautiful. They also took us to their garden and made fresh squeezed orange juice. Don’t miss this experience! Highly recommend !
